Every lot, certified
and documented.

IHPM is a commercial supplier of high-purity metals. We do not manufacture the material or operate a laboratory ourselves; we arrange independent certification through a foreign certification authority — Institut für Seltene Erden und Metalle AG (ISE) in Lucerne — and supply the accompanying documentation: a Certificate of Analysis, a Certificate of Origin, and the laboratory certification for each consignment.

Documents

The documentation pack
Four standing documents
01

Certificate of Analysis

For each consignment, ISE issues a Certificate of Analysis stating the measured composition by ICP-MS, with each detected element resolved to parts-per-billion. The certificate is signed by the laboratory, not by IHPM.

02

Certificate of Origin

A Certificate of Origin accompanies every delivery, declaring the country of refining and the refining partner. IHPM mediates and assembles this record; it does not refine or produce the material.

03

Laboratory certification

IHPM arranges the laboratory certification through ISE, an independent certification authority in Switzerland. We act solely as intermediary between the client and the authority.

04

Accompanying documentation

The complete pack — analysis, origin and laboratory certification — is supplied with the consignment. Individual certification to a client’s own specification can be arranged on request.

DOC·01

Certificate of Analysis

Independent composition analysis by ISE, reported by ICP-MS to parts-per-billion. Issued and signed by the laboratory for the specific lot.

DOC·02

Certificate of Origin

Declared country of refining and refining partner for the material, assembled and mediated by IHPM as supplier.

DOC·03

Laboratory certification

Certification arranged through ISE, an independent foreign certification authority. IHPM acts as intermediary and supplies the documentation.

DOC·04

Individual certification

Where a client requires certification to a particular specification, IHPM can arrange individual certification through the authority on request.

Certification authority — ISE Lucerne

Independent authority
Third-party certification

Institut für Seltene Erden und Metalle AG is an independent Swiss certification authority.

ISE specialises in rare-earth, minor-metal and base-metal composition analysis. Its instrumentation is calibrated against Swiss federal standards and its scientific board reports independently of the firms whose material it certifies.

IHPM is a commercial supplier and arranges certification through ISE; it neither manufactures the material nor operates the laboratory. Every certificate is issued and signed by ISE, not by IHPM, and we do not influence or contest its analytical findings.

Safekeeping Receipt (SKR)

For material held in our secure storage, IHPM issues a Safekeeping Receipt (SKR) — a documentation and record-keeping confirmation of the stored material and its accompanying documentation.

What the receipt records
  • The owner
  • The material
  • The quantity
  • The lot and certificate reference
  • The storage location
  • The date of issue
  • The issuer
AvailabilityIssued on request for material held in storage.

The SKR is purely a record of storage. It is not a security, a financial instrument or collateral, and it is not tradable.
